The Bharat Scouts and Guides (BSG) is the national Scouting and Guiding association of India, recognized by the Government of India. It is an educational movement aimed at shaping the character of young people through values of self-discipline, social service, and patriotism.

Scouting and Guiding helps students become responsible citizens with balanced physical, intellectual, and spiritual development. Scouts and Guides learn to be disciplined, honest, and socially responsible, always ready to serve society. The program also encourages participation as active members of local, national, and international communities.

Achievements:

• Jain Public School, Ranebennur, was honored with the Governor’s Award in 2019-20 for excellence in the Bharat Scouts and Guides programme.

Through BSG, students at JPS gain life skills, leadership qualities, and a strong sense of civic responsibility, preparing them to contribute positively to society.
