An offshoot of TED Conferences originated in Monterey California USA, TEDx event is a local gathering where live TED-like talks and performances are shared with the community around. TEDx events are fully planned and coordinated independently, on a community-by-community basis. The content and design of each TEDx event is unique and developed independently, but all of them have features in common.
Jain Public School is the pioneer in Haveri & Davanagere districts to have organised a successful TEDx event three times.
The event has met with a lot of appreciation & acclaim from Industry Speakers, Teachers’ Community and Parents as well. Students were inspired & motivated after meeting and interacting with well-known speakers, who are successful entrepreneurs from varied sectors.
Overall grades will be calculated based on performance in both Formative and Summative Assessments.
