National Youth Parliament Scheme
The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs launched the National Youth Parliament Scheme (NYPS) on 26th November, 2019, to expand the outreach of Youth Parliament Programme of the Ministry to all the recognized educational institutions of the country.
Jain Public School has conducted 2 National Youth Parliament Scheme (NYPS) on 5th June 2023 & 23rd August 2024 with permission from the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, India.
It gives opportunity to the JPS students to associate themselves with our great democratic values. This event contains various training resources in the form of tutorials, literature, training videos, etc. for self-learning of the participants. The event will be used for implementing and monitoring of the Youth Parliament programme of the Ministry.
The objective of the Youth Parliament event is to strengthen the roots of democracy, inculcate healthy habits of discipline, and tolerance of the views of others and to enable the student community to know about practices and procedures of the Parliament and to enhance their knowledge of the functioning of the Government, Constitutional values and for living their life in a democratic way.
